OMA Events ~ September 2020

Sept. 11, Fri 12:00-1:00 pm The Divided Community Project: Join us for a Presentation/Q&A by mediation powerhouse Nancy Rogers and Divided Community Project Co-Director Carl Smallwood. In 2015, the Moritz College of Law launched an effort to train community leaders to address civic unrest with conflict resolution skills. This effort proved prescient, given the nationwide protests following the homicide of George Floyd by white police officers. Nancy Rogers is former Dean of the Moritz College of Law, former Ohio Attorney General, and recipient of many lifetime achievement awards in the field of dispute resolution. Carl Smallwood is a retired partner at Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP in Columbus and received much recognition for his contributions over nearly 40 years of practicing law in central Ohio. (Zoom Link in your OMA Events Email)
