Advanced Information

Practice Description

Dispute Systems Design and Mediation. As a dispute systems designer, I have created new forms of negotiation, arbitration, legislation, and international dispute resolution. I have been invited to speak about these concepts in national and international conferences across the country. Also, I have published articles in a variety of professional dispute resolution journals and law reviews.

Background

While in law school, I developed “co-resolution,” the first dispute resolution model to provide each disputant with a conflict coach and ensure that these coaches promote cooperative negotiation behaviors.  After graduating law school, I worked for a truancy mediation program and then as a custody attorney in Marion, Ohio for seven years.
